last year (2014) we have been in sea melody for 18 days. This year we repeated the experince. The palce is really relaxing and fits perfectly with our needs. Evanghelia, the owner is always peferct and the studios are really clean. We have been with friends, so we had 3 studios, the other studios were occupied by couples or family, normally very quiet people. Americans, british,... normally all foreign turists are quiet, sea melody is for people that want to be far from noise.
Quiet, beach-side studio of exceptional quality and value We chose this accommodation for our stay in Naxos having read the great reviews - we were not disappointed. We were picked up from and dropped off at the airport by Evangelia, our charming hostess at no extra charge. We requested an early check in and late check out due to the timing of our flights and, again, were not charged for this. Our studio apartment (no. 2) was on the first floor facing the long sandy beach, with wonderful views from our large private balcony where we enjoyed breakfast every morning and could watch the sun set in the evening.
Sea Melody - what a lovely stay! Eva is the wonderful lady at Sea Melody who runs the establishment. She gave us a warm welcome after all the correspondence of emailing backwards and forwards. Eva took us to our spacious studio upstairs and it was lovely. To welcome us she had made a pudding for each of us - what a lovely gesture! The studio was spotlessly clean, very comfortably furnished and had everything that one required. The shower had a powerful spray of hot water. The room led out onto a sheltered balcony, overlooking the beach and sea 50m away. The studio is situated on Plaka Beach, which is a quiet area and not touristy at all.
like at home we have been in Sea Melody in july, three families with childrens. All was perfect, the owner is a real friend and the studios are very clean. The position is perfect: at te south end of plaka beach, the best beach of the island. Quit place, less people. The studios are just few metres from the beach, a car is needed only for tours and to go to the city. Very good restarurants are not far from the studios. We enjoied the stay, the perfect postion and the beautiful place. The Meltemi wind is not strong in that place because the studios and the beach are partially protected. Not far the beach there is mikri vigla, where the kitesurf and windusrf are. Perfect for me and my family. The owner Evanghelia was really nice and helpful with us, giving us very good indications for restaurants and places to visit. Remember that are studios, so don't expect a luxury hotel. Anyway all is beautiful, functional and perfectly cleen!
